Successful Aging Part 2

Successful Aging: Reducing Inflammation

In the first part we addressed how we create “unpleasant aging” is created and discussed how to reduce the toxins impact our life.

To recap, the unpleasant aging is created by the conjunction of 4 factors:

  1. Accumulation of toxins

  2. Accumulation of inflammation

  3. Accumulation of disempowering thinking

  4. Nutritional deficiencies

Maintaining low toxin intake, low inflammation, empowering positive thinking and cleansing what was accumulated in the past will make our golden years more pleasant and enjoyable. The concept of successful aging emerged in 1950, became more popular in 1980’s and it is improving all the time taking in consideration our modern challenges.

We will explore today more about the second factor that impacts

our aging process: Inflammation

How do we get inflammation?

Causes for inflammation could be:

  • Certain foods (gluten, wheat, diary, meat, beans, soy, nuts) that we are allergic to.

  •  Genetics, many of us have genetic predisposition to inflammation (ex: MTHFR impairment).

  • Environmental (like mold, dust, even very dry air in our home).

  • Toxins and stress. (here we see how all the 4 factors are interconnected)

  •  Lack of movement and exercise which results in lymph and blood circulation stagnation

How do we reduce the incoming inflammation?

  •  Eliminating inflammatory and acid forming foods, alcohol, refined sugar etc from our diet

  •  Eliminating environmental factors like mold, keeping dust under control (quality air purifier) or a humidifier when the air is too dry (use only distilled water for it and clean it regularly)

  • Yes, it is true that we need to learn more about us, become more aware about our body language and take actions in order to reduce the impact of inflammation, but it is all worth it and empowering.

How do we get ride of the inflammation we already have?

Besides the methods mentioned in first part of this article, also here are few very good methods to improve the immune system, increase the lymph system flow and implicit, help reduce inflammation:

  • Eating a lot of fruits and vegetable, organic, fresh (i.e. avocado and vitamin C rich foods)

  • Cayenne pepper

  • Stinging Nettle

  • Black seeds oil

  • Quality fulvic acid show powerful results, close to miraculous!

  • Turmeric is counted among the best anti-inflammatory remedies, but its poor absorption (including liposomal) offers great results labs setting and less effective in reality.

  • Essential oils used topically or diffused, of course it is very important to work with someone that is educated in the field.

  • Drinking distilled water.

  • Using an “organic salt”, for example sea moss powder which offers our body close to 97 vital trace minerals.

  • Celery juice

  • Carrot juice

  • Magnesium supplementation (high absorption, angstrom liquid glycinate or in cream form)

  • Eating and supplementing for your DNA and for supporting the liver in producing glutathione.

  • Having a daily routine of prayer/meditation

Charles Eugster, 93 years old and a body builder, states: “Successful aging requires work, diet and exercise. The huge mental and physical potential of the aged remains unexplored. Bodies can now be rebuilt at any age and a new life started. Beauty kings and queens in the 80-year-old category or a beach body at the age of 94 are not impossible. We will all, regardless of age, have to take greater responsibility for our own health in order to confront the immense challenges confronting the human race.”
